Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia

Task

To run governance in terms of State finance in order to assist the President in running the State governance.

Functions

Task

  • executing administrative affairs in the Fiscal Policy Agency; and
  • executing other functions directed by the Minister of Finance.

Task

to organize education, training, and competence certification in terms of State finance according to legislation.

Functions

  • formulating technical policy, plans and programs of education, training, and competence certification in terms of State finance;

  • monitoring, evaluating, and reporting the execution of education, training, and competence certification regarding State finance; 
  • executing administrative affairs in the Education and Financial Training Agency; and

Task

  • Assistant of Minister for Tax Regulation and Law Enforcement: providing recommendations on strategic issues to the Minister in terms of tax regulation and law enforcement.
  • Assistant of Minister for Tax Compliance: providing recommendations on strategic issues to the Minister in terms of tax compliance.
  • Assistant of Minister for Taxation Supervisory: providing recommendations on strategic issues to the Minister in the terms of tax revenue supervision.
  • Assistant of Minister for Revenue: providing recommendations on strategic issues to the Minister in terms of government revenue policy.
  • Assistant of Minister for State Expenditure: providing recommendations on strategic issues to the Minister in terms of government expenditure.
  • Assistant of Minister for Macroeconomic and International Financial: providing recommendations on the strategic issues to the Minister in terms of macro economy and international finance.
  • Assistant of Minister for Financial Services and Capital Market Policy and Regulation: providing recommendations on strategic issues to the Minister in terms of financial services and capital market policy and regulation.

Additional tasks, as follow:

  • Assistant of Minister for Tax Regulation and Law Enforcement, Tax Compliance and Taxation Supervisory are assigned to assist the Director General of Taxes in establishing coordination of tasks implementation in the Directorate General of Taxes;

  • implementation of administration of the registration/licensing/Accountant registration, Certified Public Accountants, non Public Accountant, Accountant Service Office (KJA), KJA Branch, Public Accounting Firm (KAP), and KAP Branch, Office of Foreign Public Accountants (KAPA), Foreign Audit Organization (OAA), and the Indonesian Audit Organization (OAI);
  • implementation of administration of the registration/licensing/approval Appraisers and Actuary Assistant, Appraisal, Office of Public Appraisal Service (KJPP), KJPP Branch, Actuary, Actuarial Consultant, Branch of Actuarial Consultant and other financial professions, the opening of the Representative Office of KJPP, as well as cooperation and inclusion of the name office of Foreign Public Appraisal Service (KJPPA) and Foreign Actuarial Consultant;

Educational Fund Management Institution

Tasks

To manage the educational endowment fund originating from the National Education Development Fund, investment revenue, and-or other official sources to ensure the sustainability of the educational program for the younger generations according to the law stipulated by the Courtesy Board, Minister of Finance as the General Treasurer, and legislation.


Functions

  • planning, implementing, and developing the investment sector;
  • planning, implementing, and developing scholarship;
  • planning, implementing, and developing research fund facility;
  • coordinating the implementation, development, as well as administrative and technical support to all of the organizational elements in the Educational Fund Management Institution;
  • implementing internal inspection of the duty of the Educational Fund Management Institution;
  • implementing other functions assigned by the ministry of finance.
